Parental Views

Our parents' views are important to us

We ask parents of the children at our Academy to complete a questionnaire each year so that we can find out your views and what suggestions you wish to make. We value and appreciate you taking the time to complete these questionnaires.

In addition to this, we would also encourage you to let Ofsted know what you think about our Academy. They have introduced an online survey called Parent View. Parent View asks you for your opinion on twelve aspects of the Academy. Ofsted will use this information before inspecting the Academy and, once enough people have taken part, you will be able to see what other parents have said about the Academy. Please click here to find out more and complete the survey.

Latest academy survey results

59 parent/carers responded to our latest survey of parents' views (Oct 2021)

36 parent/carers responded to our previous survey of parents' views (Feb 2020)

Parent/Carer Volunteers

We welcome all parent/carer volunteers into the Academy. If you are able to give up your time to accompany us on weekly swimming acitivy, school trips etc, please see your child's class teacher.

We also operate a system of Buddy Readers in the Academy. If you are able to committ to supporting reading in school on a regular basis we are able to offer a simple training programme in how to do this to best effect. Regular volunteers in the Academy are subject to DBS checks.
