Bring your bear to school day
Our theme this term is 'Bears'. To start the theme this week everyone was invited to bring in their favourite teddy bear. We had such a range of bears and other cuddly friends come to school and join the fun. In the morning we talked to our friends about our bears, what they feel like and why they are special to us. In the afternoon we enjoyed having our bears play alongside us. Some children even went on their own bear hunt adventure outside and spotted polar bears and wild brown bears!!
This week we also had a bear called Bertie arrive in our classroom. He was feeling a little upset as his roof had blown off his house and he had nowhere to live. The children have agreed that he can stay with us at Bishop Creighton and they've even said they'd like to take him to their houses each night on a little adventure. We look forward to hearing what Bertie gets up to.
