Computing Workshop

This afternoon we held a practical workshop for parents exploring how we use technology in EYFS.

Parents worked alongside their children to learn how to use a QR code to access our Airhead platform on a tablet device. They also learnt how to login to a Windows device. They were very impressed by the speed of the QR codes!

Children had the chance to show off their computing skills by working together on Microsoft Teams, Flipgrid, Paint 3D, Purple Mash, Numbots and Reading Eggs. All of these are accessible from home via Airhead.

Families worked together to record a Flipgrid about their families. Parents were impressed by the way we use Flipgrid to capture pupil voice across the school and are keen to see further use of this as part of home learning tasks.
