Safety Challenge

Year 5 and Year 6 take part in the "Safety Challenge".
This morning Year 5 and Year 6 visited Dogsthorpe Fire station in order to take part in a Safety Challenge. We had a wonderful morning meeting the fire crews and developing our undertanding about how to stay safe in different situations. Not only did we learn about what to do in the event of a fire, we also investigated how to stay safe around water. Later on in the morning we watched a video explaining what "cyber-safety" is and took part in an Anti-Social Behaviour quiz. I think we would all agree that even though the challenges were very informative and helped us to develop our "staying safe" skills, the children would all agree that the highlight of the trip was getting the chance to take a good look at one of the two fully-manned fire engines in Peterborough.
Don't forget to take a look at all our wonderful photos in the Gallery.
