"Yesterday the Year 5 and 6 classes travelled to an amazing stone keep castle called "Castle Rising". It is over 800 years old! The castle is very tall and at the top we could see for miles. I really recommend a visit."

Jonny's blog...
"On the hottest day in September we had the privilege of going to the 800 year old Castle Rising. My favourite areas were the ditch and the dungeon."

Haytham's blog...
"On a very hot September day Year 6, along with the Year 5 class went to Castle Rising in Norfolk to begin our new theme "Castles & WWI". Although many parts of the castle have been left in ruins it is still an enjoyable place to visit. The castle itself is full of many defensive features such as the drawbridge and ramparts."
