Year 5 have been learning all about plants so we decided to see if we can grow some of our own! After learning about how crucial suitable growing conditions are we first ensured our soil and compost mix was of high quality and full of nutrients. We then followed the instructions depending on the different types of seeds! We planted the seeds and made sure they were all watered appropriately. To help us remember which seeds were planted where, we labelled colour-coordinated lollypop sticks! Now we have to wait for germination to start and hopefully soon, we will see a stem sprout from the soil! How exciting! Great teamwork year 5!
