This week Year 4 learnt how to analyse poetry and consider the effect it has on the reader. We learnt about similes and metaphors and how to include theme in our poems. We found poems linked to fireworks night and discussed the imagery that it poems gave us. Everyone had different picture in their mind and the whole class was a buzz with their ideas after reading the poems.
