Guac Guac Guac!

How could Wolves class possibly write instructions for making Guacamole without making it themselves?

Last week, Wolves class had an adventurous start to the day by making their own Guacamole. This popular dip is enjoyed throughout Latin America, particularly in Mexico and Guatemala. The latter has been the focus of our theme work this half term and has stimulated lots of interest in the country.

Making Guacamole has only further ignited our class' curiosity and introduced them to a nutritious fruit at the same time. (Warning: add garlic with caution!)

Providing the pupils with learning experiences to draw upon in their writing continues to be incredibly successful and is evident in the detailed instructions they have written!
