Buddy says...                "Speak out, stay safe!"

Lisa from the NSPCC came into BCA today to remind us how they help children.

The National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children is a charity campaigning and working in child protection in the United Kingdom.

We had a special assembly today from the NSPCC called Speak out. Stay safe. This assembly reminded all pupils about who and how they can ask for help should they ever need it. We met the NSPCC mascot Buddy! He is the green one in the photo above! The children in the photograph were showing 'thumbs down' to show abuse is wrong and all children have the right to be safe and happy.

Our academy has offered to help with fundraising for the charity to support their valuable work. We will all take part in a sponsored workout challenge next week and will be asking parents, careers, family and friends of the pupils to sponsor them! All money raised will go to the NSPCC. Participation is voluntary but every penny raised makes a difference for children who need support in the UK.
