Mrs Metcalfe and Miss Blackwell took nine pupils out into the community this morning to sing Christmas songs to the residents of two care homes near our academy.

The pupils made everyone very proud by singing beautifully! Firstly we visited Stephenson Court right next door and then we walked to Friary Court.

After the performance the children mingled amongst the residents introducing themselves and each other. The smiles on everyone's faces was a delight to see! 

At the end everyone joined in singing We Wish you a Merry Christmas and we left feeling full of Christmas cheer!
