Wolves do weather!

Wolves class explored their Learning Skill of speaking and listening in a fun and interactive way...

Wolves class 'Learning Skill' focus this half term is Speaking and Listening. We have been developing this through exploring different future career and jobs in order to raise aspirations and understanding. The class have already taken part in practical activities to find out what it might like to be a fireman, doctor and teacher. This week they loved their opportunity to see what it would be like to be a weather man/lady. We focussed on speaking with expression and varying tone as well as listening attentively to answer questions on the weather report delivered.

It was a brilliant way for all of the pupils to express themselves in a non-threatening environment with BIG smiles and laughter!
