BCA Netball!

Today marked the first session of after school netball club! Fourteen girls from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 attended! Already they're developing new skills, and their behaviour and effort were fantastic!
After school clubs started today, which meant it was time for the very first session of netball! I was delighted to find out that 14 girls from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 wanted to learn about and play some netball! Before heading outside we watched some clips of the England netball team and talked about how many different skills are used by netball players. Out on the court we did some warm up exercises and stretching, we moved onto a very fun netball drill all about footwork and landing! After practicing catching with bean bags we ended the session with a mini game! Already I am incredibly impressed with the behaviour and the effort I have seen in today's session. Netball is a sport I personally enjoy, so I'm extremely excited to be involved with BCA netball! Well done girls, great attitudes and already you're showing some super skills! I can't wait for our next session together already!
