Bishop Creighton Academy

Peterborough Children's film awards

There was great excitement this evening for Penguin Class as we attended the Peterborough Children's Film Awards!

A group of six children produced a short film for the film awards. The theme for this year was "The 900 years of the Cathedral"

The budding film makers used a variety of images from the cathedral to create their own cathedral tour. Using iMovie they helped to edit the film and add music.

Two little penguins attended the presentation evening with Mrs Baldock & Miss Brown. There was great excitement during the evening as we waited nervously to find out which school had won the EYFS category. We were delighted to hear that our film was a runner-up. We all went onto the stage to collect the trophy which will take pride of place in the trophy cabinet in the main entrance.
