Hands on!

Wolves class have been exploring measurements in ml and litres! Read on to find out how they managed to apply their skills in a science investigation...

Wolves class began the week by exploring the capacity of different containers. We used measuring jugs, with varying scales, to find out how much water each held. What a brilliant way to get the children out of their seats on a Monday morning! (And the fun didn't stop there)

Later in the week, Wolves class set up an experiment to find out how water is transported through a plant. This provided an amazing opportunity for them to apply their skills by measuring the correct amounts of water and food dye for each plant. We are eagerly awaiting the results of our experiment which we will analyse tomorrow.
