On a glorious spring morning (which was was also Red Nose day) Year 6 had a wonderful opportunity to develop their tennis skills in the sunshine. After a little bit of coaching from Samuel,  showing the class how to handle the racket and ball in the most effective way, it was the children's turn to work in pairs and try to maintain a consistent, steady rally. Mr Pickett (our PE coach) was particularly pleased that the class were not interested in simply how far or how fast they could hit a ball but that they wanted to develop their accuracy and ball control skills in a small area of the court.
