Learning the clarinet

A fantastic opportunity to learn a musical instrument.
This week saw Year 4 become excited about learning how to play a new music instrument. For the first time this year we into our special music room The Cube.
Waiting for us to arrive was the music teacher. We were mesmerised by the beautiful tune he played on his clarinet. He taught us how to but our clarinet together. We were fascinated by all the shiny buttons and learnt they were called keys.

Did you know there is a special bit of wood called the reed and it is attached to the mouth piece? You can't play a tune without it.
For next week he has decided to challenge us and see what we can remember. It will be interesting to see who can put the clarinet together without help.
